The Bible speaks of the HAND OF GOD or THE FINGER OF GOD, which is the reference to the anointing of God coming upon someone for a specific situation.

“But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20

“But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him 2Kings 3:15

Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
1 Kings 18:46

The hand of the lord- the anointing- can come upon you to do a specific thing, at a specific time, in a specific situation to achieve specific results.

When God gifts you, calls you, and anoints you for MINISTRY, it is real and it remains with you. It stays. It abides even regardless of your personal walk with God.

“ For God’s gifts and call are irrevocable – He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom he sends His call.” Romans 11:29 (Amp)

The anointing is received sovereignly from God when He calls you into a specific ministry.
God anoints whoever He wants to anoint.
The anointing is the sovereign work of God, given and based upon the grace of God.
Man cannot achieve it, work it up, hype it up, and man cannot give it to you.

The anointing can be imparted and transferred from one man of God to another ONLY if the Holy spirit leads and sovereignly directs, e.g
Moses to Joshua
Elijah to Elisha

In the office God has called you into; you can covet, desire and go after a greater anointing in your ministry, a greater intensity and a deeper dimension of anointing, to stand in your office.

And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” 2 Kings 2:9

Don’t stop going after God until you have received the full anointing in your ministry.
Know what it is you are called to do, and obey that calling. Stay with it and move into all the anointing of that call and ministry.
Without the anointing, all the work, all the time spent in study, all the efforts is fruitless and useless. We are just spinning our wheels!

Without the anointing, everything is wasted effort.
Without the Holy Spirit, we have nothing to give people
Without the anointing, our sermons are empty, dead works
Without the anointing, we are helpless to do anything.

We must rely 100% on the Holy Spirit, and have faith in the anointing to get the job done! It is better to speak ten words under the anointing and by unction of the Holy Spirit, than ten thousand without Him.

Isa 10:27 It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

Spiritual, physical, emotional, religious, financial, matrimonial, mental, demonic, sin, sickness, disease, oppression, fear, poverty, strife, lack etc

What is a yoke?
It is any kind of power, influence, force, or addiction that puts you or holds you in bondage.

It can be sin, fear, bad habits, addictions, compulsive desires, sickness, poverty etc

The anointing of God destroys:
The yoke of religious tradition
The yoke of deception
The yoke of fear and depression
The yoke of sin
The yoke of sickness
The yoke of un forgiveness and resentment
The yoke of guilt and condemnation
The yoke of demonic oppression
The yoke of lust and pornography

Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Luke 4:1

The Holy spirit empowered and anointed Jesus for supernatural ministry.
Jesus had his faith tested by Satan during the wilderness experience. If he had given in to Satan, He would have come out of the wilderness defeated. But because of the power of the Holy Spirit, He was victorious

Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. Luke 4:14

His fame started in the wilderness, when He conquered Satan. After that His fame kept spreading.

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

Jesus acknowledged His power and results to the Holy Spirit

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; Luke 4:18
Through the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was able to:

Preach the Gospel to the poor – Message of prosperity
This includes:
The poor and feeble of the world
Those who have nothing and are sick
The rich of the world who, though they have everything materially, are in a state of lack and live in misery, because what they have does not satisfy them… they are spiritually poor

Heal the brokenhearted – message of healing
This speaks of people who have had their lives crushed by problems, have no answers, and as a result are in despair, in desperation, overcome with difficulties

Preach deliverance to the captives – message of deliverance
People who are captives and are held prisoner by forces stronger than they are. These forces which control them may be in the form of fear, habits, compulsive desires, addictions, or other bondages of sin. Often it can be the result of demonic influence

Give sight to the blind – message of restoration
Whether it be physical or spiritual blindness, both can be healed by the power of the Holy Spirit

Give liberty to the oppressed – Message of freedom
That is freedom from being crushed, hurt, and wounded…spirit, soul and body! Jesus did no healings, no miracles, no deliverances until he was anointed with the Holy Spirit at the age of 30 years. Before He was 30, there was NO MIRACLES, NO HEALINGS, NO SIGNS AND WONDERS because He Was not anointed. It is the Anointing that destroys the yoke.

“And they were all amazed and said to one another, what kind of talk is this? For with authority and power He commands the foul spirits, and they come out!”
Luke 4:36 (AMP)

“Now at the setting of the sun [indicating the end of sabath], all those who had [any that were] sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid hands upon everyone of them and cured them. And demons even came out of many people, screaming and crying out, you are the son of God! But He rebuked them, and would not permit them to speak, because they knew that He was Christ, the messiah.” Luke 4:40, 41 (AMP)

If Jesus had to be anointed to preach the Gospel, to teach the word of God, to heal the sick, to cast out demons, and release miracles to set suffering mankind free then you and I need the anointing of God today!

When Jesus left this earth, He legally transferred the anointing that was on Him and put it on us
Matthew 28:18-20
John 17:18,20-22
John 20:21
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Acts 10:38
Child of God remember, it is the anointing that makes the difference.

Psalm 96:10
God’s supernatural power is for all believers in christ. God’s healing and miracle power is for you. The divine supernatural gifts of the spirit are for all believers. The gifts of the spirit are the ‘Power Tools’ God gives us to fulfil our ministries, carry out the great commission, and destroy the works of the devil. Spiritual empowering equips believers for service. Acts 2:16-19

Get dissatisfied with being a pew warmer in the church and make up your mind to be a new testament believer actively fulfilling the Great Commission and DOING the works of Jesus Mark 16:15-20

Be continually filled with the Holy Spirit and be a clean, yielded available vessel for God’s anointing to flow through Ephesians 5:18
remember all ministry flows out of your relationship with the Holy Spirit

Earnestly desire to be used in the gifts by actively seeking God in Prayer 1Cor 14:1,12 Heb 11:6

Increase your knowledge of spiritual gifts by studying what te Bible teaches 1 Cor 12:1
Increased Biblical knowledge will increase your faith to operate in the gifts.

Love people and minister to their needs with the love of God 1Cor 13:1-8 Gal 5:6, Matth 14:14

Expect the Holy Spirit to manifest His gifts through you bildly step out in obedience to His leading. Luke 11:13, Hebrews 2:4

IMPORTANT: Moving in the gifts involves a willingness to TAKE RISKS – it is not sitting back playing safe! You must be willing to step out as you sense the Holy Spirit and His anointing, His promptings, His voice speaking to you. As you receive His thoughts, words, pictures or impressions then boldly step out and walk on the water. Reject the fear of man, be willing to be a fool for Jesus for the sake of the gospel.

Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

They are willing to assist other believers, ministries, and business’ to accomplish the Great Commission. A Hub builder is focused on Kingdom advancement globally and in the local community through alignment with other effective, and strategic ministries and individuals.”

The Hub has a revival response like the ecclesiastical city-wide church of Ephesus building unity in the community. It forms Networks for shared mission in the city. Example: Antioch, which was a “Hub” for trans-local church-planting and mission. apostolic people BOTH send and are sent. It takes senders and sent out ones to establish an apostolic hub. (Acts 11:19-30, 13:1-14:28)
