HOW TO MAKE INITIAL CONTACT WITH MISSIONARY TEAMS

HOW TO MAKE INITIAL CONTACT WITH MISSIONARY TEAMS
Many local churches would like to give on a monthly basis to national missionaries in Africa ,Asia, or Latin America. Sunday school classes, youth groups, children’s Bible clubs, or Christian families might also consider “adopting” a National Missionary Team.

The problem is that many churches, groups, and individuals who want to adopt a national missionary team do not know how to make the initial contact. They have questions such as: Does this missionary team really need financial support from abroad? How can I be sure that my support funds are being used wisely? Is the national missionary team accountable for the use of their support funds? Is anything being accomplished in their ministry?

CHOOSING A MISSIONARY TEAM FOR ADOPTION
The GPF Apostolic Missions Network Inc, can take the guesswork out of choosing a national missionary team  or ministry to adopt. The leaders of The Network take up to several years to get to know the missionaries being presented to you through the Missionary Team Adoption Program (MTAP program). The backgrounds of these men and ministries have been thoroughly researched. The GPF Apostolic Missions Network Inc. requires financial and ministry accountability of each national missionary Team and ministry. Except in countries closed to American visitors, these men and ministries have been visited by The GPF Apostolic Missions Network Inc leaders. We present the Teams to you for adoption without reservation. Please pray for God’s direction as you consider what part you might have in helping an outstanding National Missionary Team who are faithfully serving God with very little financial backing. Your assistance can make a great difference.

The National Missionary Teams this Network presents to you for adoption through MTAP are missionaries who cannot, for one reason or another, come to the States to do personal deputation. First, it would be extremely unwise for us to bring all of our national leaders to the States. Sometimes language is a problem; not all of these missionaries can communicate well in English. Finally, some of these men would have difficulty obtaining a visa to visit the USA.

MTAP is simply a tool to present to you some outstanding national missionaries and ministries that need your help. Your monthly gift will make it possible for many to hear the gospel message from a missionary who knows the language and culture of his people and has a burden to win the lost to Christ. The average basic support need per Missions Team in an area is $1000/month; total ministry budgets vary per Missionary Team.

50@50 WMF Campaign
50@50 WMF Campaign is a fund drive that is purposed to help mobilize  50 New Missions Partners who will commit themselves to give $50 USD  per month towards the World Missions Fund (WMF) for the next 12 months. Will you consider adopting a national missionary Team for $50 or more per month? The blessing will be yours. Adopt today! The MTAP program will help you through the adoption process.

The GPF Apostolic Missions Network Inc which runs the 50@50 WMF Campaign is registered under section 501 c 3 of the of the United States of America’s Internal Revenue Code as a non -profit corporations. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
